FEETNIQUE

Position Summary: It will be the responsibility of the Foot Care Nurse to provide foot care treatment in the nursing home in West Toronto- PPE provided.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Practical Nurse or Registered nurse.
  • Successful completion of a Foot Care Course with Basic and Advance Foot Care Certification
  • Minimum 1year experience working in the field an asset
  • Excellent proven verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills   
  • Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a timely manner
  • Working knowledge of Point Click Care an asset (training provided if needed)
  • Trained in steralizing tools or willing to obtain training from the clinic
  • Established proven record as a dependable and competent person
  • Co-operative and reliable and must be able to work independently.
  • Onyfix training an assest.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide foot care in a safe and professional manner
  • Must Autoclave (Autoclaving service provided by clinic for free)
  • Ability to model and reflect a healthy and positive attitude when interacting with clients and staff.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures.

Required:

  • Current CNO and RPNOA/CNPS Membership
  • Current driver’s license and access to vehicle
  • Valid Police Check
  • Advance Foot Care Certification
  • Must be fully vaccinated.
